RABAGAS Magazine – Submission Terms & Conditions

By submitting any content to RABAGAS Magazine (“RABAGAS”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), including but not limited to articles, stories, images, classifieds, advertisements, correspondence, letters, messages, love notes, secrets, and any other materials (“Submission(s)”), you (“Contributor”, “you”, or “your”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Originality & Rights

• You represent and warrant that each Submission is your original work, or that you possess all necessary rights, licenses, consents, and permissions to submit and authorize its publication by RABAGAS.
• You further represent and warrant that your Submission does not infringe upon, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party.
• Any plagiarized, unauthorized, or undisclosed AI-generated content may be rejected and/or removed at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

2. Grant of Rights

• By submitting content to RABAGAS, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to reproduce, publish, display, perform, distribute, translate, edit, adapt, modify, and otherwise use your Submission, in whole or in part, in any and all formats and media, including (but not limited to) our website, print editions, digital anthologies, promotional materials, and social media channels.
• This license includes the right to use your Submission in future collections, special issues, and any derivative works produced by RABAGAS or its affiliates.
• You retain all copyright and moral rights in your Submission and may publish or license it elsewhere at any time, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Editorial Discretion

• RABAGAS reserves the right to edit, adapt, condense, reformat, translate, reject, or otherwise modify any Submission for clarity, length, style, tone, legal compliance, or any other editorial reason, at our sole discretion.
• We may alter headlines, correct grammar or spelling, and make other minor or substantial editorial changes prior to publication. We may also, at our discretion, refuse to publish or remove content for any reason.

4. Language & Translation

• RABAGAS publishes primarily in English. Submissions in other languages may be translated by our editors or third-party translators, and you grant us the right to create, use, and publish such translations.
• While we endeavor to respect the spirit and intent of the original, you acknowledge that translations may involve editorial adaptation.

5. Attribution & Anonymity

• Contributors may request to be credited under their real name, a pseudonym, or as “Anonymous.” Please specify your preference at the time of submission.
• Unless you explicitly request anonymity, we may include your name or chosen pseudonym in connection with your Submission.
• By submitting, you consent to the use of your name, pseudonym, or likeness in connection with your Submission and its promotion, unless you have opted for anonymity.

6. Payment & Refunds

• Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, Submissions are unpaid. Paid Submissions (such as classifieds or advertisements) are subject to our standard rates and are non-refundable except in cases of technical failure or editorial rejection prior to publication.
• Payment does not guarantee publication or print placement. All editorial decisions are final and made at the sole discretion of RABAGAS.

7. Use & Republishing

• By submitting, you acknowledge and agree that RABAGAS may republish your Submission in any future print editions, online archives, anthologies, marketing materials, or promotional activities, with appropriate credit (unless anonymity was requested).
• You retain the right to republish or license your Submission elsewhere at any time.

8. Standards of Conduct

• Submissions must not contain hate speech, threats, harassment, discrimination, illegal material, or any content deemed objectionable by RABAGAS. We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any Submission for violation of these standards or for any reason whatsoever.

9. Limitation of Liability

• RABAGAS shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of your Submission, its publication, or its use by us or third parties. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RABAGAS and its affiliates, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Submission or breach of these terms.

10. General

• These Submission Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway (or specify jurisdiction as appropriate).
• RABAGAS reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available at www.rabagasmagazine.no/submissions.
• Submission constitutes acceptance of these terms and any guidelines published on our website.
